My latest character is Fly Boy, the sidekick from my web comic, The Interminable Cockroach Man.
I’m continuing to work on a project for MARI Artz, as well as negotiating other freelance projects. I’ll post more about those when I am allowed to.

My web comic, The Interminable Cockroach Man!, is now live. You can read it every Sunday at http://www.cockroachman.com/
This week, the comic is entirely in Russian, but the rest of the series will be in English. Why the unsubtitled foreign language track? Keep reading to find out!
I’ve also been working on an independent game with a group of Boston – area developers called Mari Artz, and I’ve just submitted my first model for the project. While I would like to share it, a piece of paper I signed keeps me from doing so. When the team is ready to share, expect to see it here. Until then, check out my other projects and keep reading Cockroach Man!
I’ve been working throughout the past 16 months on a family run start up, the Bal-Fast Interlocking Ballast System. My duties involved creating concept renders for visualization, patent application, and training and marketing materials, as well as designing the company logo. The blocks are now in the early stages of production. Here are some images of the current pieces, alongside the concept art. These blocks are empty shells, and the final ones will include cutouts for pouring concrete and inserting locking pins.
The final mold, based on these images and the original blueprints, was designed by RJK Ltd, Cut by F&M Tool and Die, and molded by CADO Company.

It’s been a busy summer. I’ve built a new computer, which should allow me to do a bit more with my 3D art, as well as taken a number of assignments for F.R. Mahony and Associates. The Interminable Cockroach Man web comic continues its development, and should be ready for a weekly launch sometime this fall.
My latest portfolio piece is an anatomy study. I’m planning to teach myself a couple more software packages in the coming months. I’ll share progress with those as they come along.
My latest model is an update of my character, Cockroach Man. Check out his adventures in my web comic at cockroachman.com. We have a short preview story posted, and will begin publishing weekly with the next arc.
There hasn’t been a lot of activity on my blog lately, and that is due mainly to two projects I’ve been working on. I’ve mentioned in the past that I’ve done some work for Bal-Fast Sytems. As their patent has officially been filed, I can now show some of that work- including the new model I’ve been working on based on their final design.
There are more images available on the props page of my portfolio.
I’ve also begun work on a web comic. While I’m still waiting for my first batch of scripts, I’ve been busy putting together character designs and backstory.
The comic will be available at cockroachman.com, and I will post here with a link again when the first page goes live.
Here are some of the projects I’ve been working on for the past month:
The first is a self-portrait.
It had been a while since I had attempted to make a face texture from photographs. I altered my workflow a little, assembling the diffuse map for the face before taking the model into ZBrush, in order to ensure that I could properly line up details such as the eyebrows and skin folds between the two.
As the pre-E3 rumor season is upon us, I thought it might be fun to attempt a modified version of the Wii controller. This was a quick two day distraction from working on the self portrait.
Finally, here is the newest cut of my demo reel-
Inspired by Tommy Tallian’s low-poly Team Fortress models, I decided to try my hand at some ultra-low polygon modeling. Here is the result:
